Old Syrian or Mughal Rosewood (or Similar) Box Inlaid

Really handsome old box, elaborately inlaid with brass and mother of pearl. Wood is some type of darkish wood shot through with black, probably Rosewood or similar. Totally unmarked on careful inspection but probably Syrian based on the aesthetics and design, possibly Mughal. An old estate piece from a very good Dallas estate and unconditionally guaranteed authentic and old and I would date it to the very early 20th century, ca. 1920s or 1930s. Light patina of wear consistent with age and please note t is some slight mottling to the finish, though the finish is NOT damagaed anyw on the box. Otherwise, MINT condition on very careful and honest inspection with NO damage of any sort. No warpage, corner separations, problems with the inlay, missing parts, repairs, etc. Hinges work fine and the box opens and closes fine with no problems. Please note I don't have the key, but you probably wouldn't want to lock it anyway. The pics are very honest and show the condition well and it is MINT with some age patina and you will not be disappointed. Measures about 5" long and 3.5" wide and 2.5" tall and it comes across as larger in real life than these dimensions possibly imply; it is a nice sized piece. Bid with confidence, a nice eBay opportunity. NO RESERVE and a nominal start and the pics tell the rest of the story. Please check my other auctions for more interesting and luxe items from old Dallas estates, almost everything at NO RESERVE and starting under $10; I'm happy to combine shipping.
