OLD THAI LARGE SOLID BRONZE HAPPY LAUGHING PIG FIGURE

Description This is a truly SUPERB and COMICAL old SOLID BRONZE sculpture of a LAUGHING PIG originating from Northern Thailand and acquired on a recent trip. Wonderfully detailed with great craftsmanship, the figure has been sculptured in perfect proportions and displays truly lifelike features of the Pig. Particularly impressive about this sculpture is the HUGE wide laughing mouth, the large floppy ears, the long corkscrew tail, the elongated snout and the 4 distinct hoofed feet .The surface of the Pig's back is shallow creating the perfect and stable display base. The sculpture has a very smooth and sensuous surface with a beautiful mottled brown color. T is a slight green patina with some sedimentation. The age of the sculpture is unknown but it is in EXCELLENT condition.
The sculpture which is 5.5 inches long, 3 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide weighs 1.25Kg(2.8lbs). Absolutely SUPERB as a display piece and guaranteed to impress, we highly recommend this sculpture. Payment and Shipping
