Foe your consideration I am putting up for auction another tool from my collection. This tool is a vintage wood brace with brass inlay. The drill bit locking mechanism works great. On the chuck area stamped into the brass are the words HAWKSWORTH SHEFFIELD. T is one area w the brass inlay lifted a little. This was probably due to wood expansion during humid weather. The brass could be pushed back down quite easily. This is a very old tool in good working condition for it's age. It makes a nice display piece or for the true vintage tool Carpenter, an excellent working brace. I have a 14 day return policy in which if you return this brace I will refund the original selling price only, provided the brace is returned in the same condition it was in when I shipped it out. You have to cover the cost to send it back, so please ask questions if I have not given enough detail. I SELL ONLY WITHIN THE USA! I prefer payment through pay pal, but I will also accept a money order from a US post office or a personal check. If payment is by check, I may wait until the check clears before I ship the brace out. Packaging and shipping cost will be $9.50. I will include optional shipping insurance on your invoice.
