From a Baltimore estate: Wonderful Art Deco book holder - one piece. One end is a half sp of red painted wood, to which is attached, by 3 bolts, a curled piece of chrome metal. Unroll the metal part, place your books inside, and allow the metal to curl back, thus holding the books in place. Unique design in a deco style. The truncated half sp is 4.5" in diameter. Marked on the bottom - Revere, Rome, N.Y., Pat. appl'd for. Excellent used condition. Minor edge chip of paint at top of wood part; chrome has light scuffing and light dulling of finish - it has NOT been cleaned. A little chrome polish will do wonders. Buyer pays US Mailing plus optional insurance.
