This auction is for an old Victorian steamer trunk, probably from the early 1900s. Trunk is flat top, 30" x 21" x 20". Trunk is fabric coated wood with oak slats and steel hardware. Leather handles, one is torn. 2 stickers on one of the chest from The American Railway Express Company to Atlanic City from Philadelphia. Not sure if the the nnumber 7/18 refers to the date. 4 functioning wheels on the bottom. Inside clean & lined with printed paper. No key for lock. No identifiers on the hardware. Very nice antique. Pick ups are free!
