This is a great OLD vintage Borax Soap dispenser. It is in great condtion withchrome parts that are still very shiny. The porcelain covered metal have large spots w the porcelain was worn away from many years of use. I believe it came from a gas station wall with the old cloth roll hand dryers hung on each side. Many thousands of hands had to brush against it to cause the wear. T is a patent number stamped in the rim of the top. T was once a chain on the inside of the dispenser to keep anyone from taking the top. The chain is gone. The dispenser is still fully functional and would look great in the collection of borax soap or the collection of someone who collects oil and gas memorabilia. This is a very old one with great character. Thanks for looking at my item.
