This is an unusual old, vintage bottle opener in the shape of a mermaid. For a small piece it has considerable weight & measures 6" x 2" x .75". I believe it is brass which has darkened considerably. The mermaid has both hands at the top of her head, just below an eye hole for hanging. She is smiling with her head turned to one side. Her hair cascades down the front and back of her and she has fairly well pronounced breasts, hips, waist and belly button! Her tail is cleverly designed as the bottle opener. Great piece for a bottle opener collector, barware collector or mermaid collector!
