I love this cat!I bought two that were matching and sold the first one about a month ago. I am selling it as an original as that was the way it was sold w I bought it at the estate auction in Nortthern Wisconsin. I believe it to be old, 1940s-1950s is my guess, leaving some room t because these are not my area if expertise. But I can look at the great old Kitty and tell you she is really neat. This is a cast iron cat with jade green eyes, these just grab your attention. I think this is a doorstop, but could be displayed anyw, The paint appears to be original, and just adds a ruffled but subtle tone to her fur,the bottom has a cast number, see pic, no name of company, some small areas of rust inside, easy to clean up if you would like, outside, excellent condition, see the back of her, wonderful ribbon tied in a bow around her neck!, she measures approx 11" long, 6" at highest, weighs about 5 pounds and is just wonderful -low start bid, no reserve, this low start bid is in no way reflective of the value or quality of this item, just an attemp to keep my listing fees down, you bidders will decide what this great old cat is worth!!
