is a vintage "Champion Dearment Tool Co 2 1/4" with anvil mark blacksmith peen hammer in good used condition. I found this in a shed w it had been sitting idle for decades. It had some areas of rust which I partially removed leaving some staining and moderate pitting. The head has some scattered dings on the sides and flat face but the narrow end is very well preserved. The wood handle looks like oak or hickory and appears to be original, t is a couple spots of stray paint drops on the handle mentioned for accuracy. The head is very secure to the handle set with a steel wedge with no signs of repair or stress to the handle. Measures approx 13+3/8" long with a 4+1/8" head. This might not be cosmetically perfect but I am sure it will perform very well when put in service. Will be shipped USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
