is one of two great old advertising thermometers
I will be listing for your consideration.

This one is for a rare thermometer issued to the store
by the company to help attract customers.
(per info taken from the sticker on the back)
Which reads:
NOTICE!
This is the thermometer you requested us to send you. You
will admit that it is durable and well gotten up. We stopped at no-
expense to give you the Best money can buy. It should be
washed as regularly as your windows. (can't read) porter about it.
By washing it once a week it will (can't read) as good in 10 years (can't read)
does to-day.
Remember (Come in. If you get it it's good. (can't read)
Invitation to the public. It is the best ad you could possibly have.
When you paint your store, please see that this thermometer
is put back in place.
If tube is broken a new one will be furnished free upon return
of old one.

Measures about 27" x 7". T is some rusting, chips to enamel, etc.
The thermometer itself does seem to be accurate in comparison
with the ones I have in my home.
