~ OLD VINTAGE HUBLEY # 121 CAST IRON DOORSTOP~ROSE BASKET ~ If you can't have enough of these charming antique & vintage doorstops in your collection, I'm happy to have offered one of the sweetest for yours! Manufactured by Hubley, it has the most wonderful cottage colors of pinks, blues, yellows, greens, and creamy off whiteâe¦ a sweet Victorian basket with a yellow bow. I believe all the paint to be original, though I'm not an expert so have a look-see at my many photos! This features delightful roses in pink & baby-soft yellow and other smaller precious blossoms as well as lovely foliage cascade down around the sides and absolutely brimming over the top of the handle for a fabulous display piece! It is marked on the backside with the number 121 just barely visible but it is t I have seen this particular doorstop sold as dated anyw from the late 1800's to early 1930's... I'm not sure which is correct & will leave that up to you to determine! As I've shown in my photos, it's cHiPPy, and the very darkened iron that shows through is a telltale of its age! It measures 10 ½" tall and 8" in width & weighs 5 pounds! Just perfectly sweet for whatever your style décor may beâe¦ from romantic cottage shabby to Paris apartment chicâe¦ set on the floor or atop your antique dresser or shelf! ~ For your convenience, insurance is optional & will be included upon request ~ Thanks for visiting my auction...
