This is a fine vintage dove tail Mah Jong box set probably from the 1920-30s . Ihave no knowledge of this game. So, I don't know if any pieces are missing. The wooden box is very nice with a few small scratches and t T are about 5 brass nails missing on the 2 little front doors. But, they are not solidly attached only put in place for the photoing. Near the handles t are a 2 cracks on the doors(one on each door). The brass hardware is very fine and complete . The outer edges and corners of the box are very nice. The box has all 4 feet and they appear to be original . The box is tight and secure and the doors are aligned correctly and close correctly . The inside of the box is fine and the shelving is tight and secure . The playing pieces are all very fine with no edge knicks . T is alittle discoloration in the form of light greyish-brown lines on the top surface of the playing pieces. You may know the best way to clear this up . I do not know what they are made of whether they are bone or ivory. The painted fronts of the playing pieces are very fine and complete as are the little sticks, and dice. The draws that they are held in are very fine, strong and secure and they glide and rest in place finely . The tiny pull handles are original and tightly in place .The box is 8 1/4" square by 7 1/4" tall. Both latches on the door work.
