Last winter I offered a very large group of Moravian and Backlund tiles.- I was thinning my collection . Well it's time to thin some more so I'll be offering some more over the next week or two. No w near the amount of last year. Rather than write a new item description I'm using last years which seams adequate.... Offered is one of a large group of Mercer / Moravian Tiles I will be listing over the next month or so. I have collected Moravian tiles for almost 20 years and formed several small collections before that which I sold. My first collection was started over 35 years ago. I have lived in Bucks County all my life and my family lived in Doylestown ( home of Henry Mercer) for over 100 years. Because of that I have had many chances over the years to acquire material that is not readily available to most collectors. After 2 decades of collecting I have finally run out of space and need to sell some but certainly not all of my collection. Items I will be offering over the next month or so will include old production tiles , new production ( after 1974 to present ) , Backlund tiles , and some small amount of paper material relating to Mercer or the tiles he produced.
