Up for auction is a rare old vintage 2 15/16 inch closed folding 1 blade Antique Quill Pen Pocket Knife . The master blade is marked on two lines O. T. - TYLER on the tang. This is probably English made c.late 1800s . The blade has been well sharpened; with tiny vintage marks and good open, close and half snap . The handles are gorgeous old Horn , perfect on both sides except for a hairline center pin crack on the back. The pins, grooved bolsters and liners are steel. This neat, super clean, late 1800s rare English Horn Handle Quill Pen Knife, designed for the sole purpose of sharpening quill pens, is truly a piece of cutlery history and would make a great addition to any collection of knives .
