This is an old Western Hunting Knife/Hatchet combination that is missing the hatchet part of this set. The knife shows light to moderate surface rust to the metal parts, light scratches to the sharp blade and staining. The cutting edge is still pretty nice and has been sharpened with care. The knife handle slabs are a pearl-like material with the right side being almost a 2-tone color, probably to help identify when attaching the once present hatchet piece. This knife is dirty, but will probably clean up very well. The brown leather sheath is still nice with no deterioration to the leather, light cracking on the roll of the hatchet cover. The leather is still supple and shows staining. All stitching is present and t is just one small break in the stitching on the outer stitching of the sheath that held the hatchet part. The metal rivets have lightly stained the leather from light rust around each rivet. Slight breaking in the leather at the curl of the hatchet cover on one end. The snap enclosures on both the hatchet cover and the retaining strap for the knife are fine. A nice old combination set by Western that needs some good cleaning to the knife. COMES WITH A 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. Blade was removed from handle and t is some light to moderate rust on the split tang and the locking lever. All works fine though and
