Attractive vintage Winchester Rifles and Ammunition Red W advertising poster. Size is 9 3/4 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches tall. It has a curl to it in the photos, but would lay flat if pressed, although I am hesitant to do so. The surface has a bit of a shine to it and was prone to camera flash. Most of the pictures you see are taken in available light. I am not an expert in vintage cardboard advertising, but I'd say the condition is very good to excellent considering it's age. It has vertical crinkles which I highlighted with the photoshop program so you can see them better. T are two small factory punched holes at the top of the sign, they appear unused, t is no wear and tear on them. The very tip of the corners have a slight amount of curl, but not much. T are two small white spots appearing on the extreme left edge near the bottom, otherwise no spots or missing pigment. The crinkled vertical marks show very slight cracks in the pigment. The curl seems to be from w this was previously hung, maybe against a post. I was not able to find anything remotely like this on ebay or other internet Winchester collector sites. My guess to age is 1920-1940. This is based on the style of the artwork. If you are a Winchester collector, you probably have a better idea of the age than I do. This is a no reserve auction, however, if I have not received more than 1 bid prior to 24 hours from the end, I will end the auction and cancel the bid.
