This is a great old wooden tool box/caddy advertising Great Lakes Motor Parts Company. I can't seem to locate the origin of this company. At first I was sure it was a Buffalo NY company but now I am unsure thinking it may have been from the Midwest. Not sure if it was meant for an auto mechanic or for a factory worker at the Great Lakes Motor Parts Company It it quite primitive with a rope handle. It measures approx. 8 1/4" wide, 9 3/4" high at the ends and 5 3/4 high in the middle. It is approx 14 1/2" long. It has layers of grease inside and out except w the grease has been removed on the sides to expose the printing. T is some paint loss/fading of lettering as seen in photos. The bottom has a few nails starting to pop out and one bottom edge has a 3 1/2" piece of wood that has splintered off. I think it can be seen in the photos. T are some spots of green paint on one end and one side as seen in the photos.
