The glass image insert is 3 inches in diameter and is held in place by a steel retainer ring which has some corrosion. T is no manufacturers mark but it is identical to those made by The M.C. Lilley & Co. of Columbus, Ohio who made Masonic products from 1882 until 1925.

This particular slide at auction is, according to the paper label on its edge, Masonic No. 34, "Forty Seventh Problem". This slide is to accompany the Lecture for the Master Mason Degree.

These have been stored for years having been property of a long dissolved Masonic Lodge. Proceeds from this auction will be given to the local Lodge that merged with the dissolved one.
