This auction is for a large antique wooden box with pressed maker mark on the bottom inside a diamond shaped mark: D.F. DUNCAN ,167 ELIZABETH ST. CHICAGO" - see picture.The box is overal in very good condition, hair line split on the bottom.Some stains on the bottom inside. The box was used as a jewelry box, maybe it was a storage box of some documents or simply a candles storage box. Today it is a very nice antique wooden box. The wood is looking gorgeous.
