The key is not present. Description: You are bidding on a very unusual old wooden box with lovely inlay work on the top. T is a pair of black and white Scottish Terriers with a nice inlaid border. The back and sides have inlaid checker board squares and the front has strips of wood carved to resemble books. The best part is the sliding secret lower panel, which allows one of the book panels to drop to expose a key hole. The 2 nd lower panel slides over so that the side bottom panel can slide open to reveal a secret hidden compartment. This is a great old collectible box. Wt. 1 lb.
