This 1 1/2 in. wide old beauty is in almost mint condition as the photos show.This lock was never put into service and is like new although production ceased decades ago when extruded body design out moded the cast bodies developed in the 1800s.This is the longest of three heights of shackle produced and I was told that these were original equipment on spare tires in the 20s and 30s on certain american cars.The blurry dollar bill in the picture is not part of this auction and for scale.
