This is a extremely hard to find Rand McNally Commercial Atlas of America - Special Census Edition. It is the 52nd Edition dated 1921. This is a huge atlas, measuring 21 x 15 inches, with the many two page maps measuring 27.5 x 20.5 inches.It contains detailed geographic commercial information from 1921 and previous. It has extensive railroad and nautical shipping information. Maps of all 48 states and the then territories of Alaska and Hawaii (Became states in 1959)Each State map has a list in red of the railroad names and a red number system to identify them on the map. Names of railroads are also printed at times in black on the map.Each of the Canadian Providences are also mapped in the same manner. Cover in rough cosmetic condition but hinge and spine still good. Some pages have small tears but overall in excellent condition inside. Very little staining and no foxing of pages. Amazing color inside. Please ask if you need more photos or have any questions.
