This older Sheaffer Lifetime snorke l filling fountain pen i s in good condition, and writes very nice. As the pictures show, this pen is in overall good condition and ready to use. The fountain pen has the familiar white dot on the barrel which indicates that this is a lifetime Sheaffer pen. The pen measures 5 9/16 " long. The inside diameter at the cap opening is 3/8". The imprint on the barrel reads "W. A. Sheaffer Pen Co. / Fort Madison, Iowa, U.S.A. / Made in U.S.A. ". It has a monogram to "Ruth H. Williams". The nib of the pen reads "Sheaffer's ". This pen is free of defects. You can see normal surface wear for an item of this vintage when you view the surface with a magnifier. The filling system for the pen is a snorke l. It is not working properly and will need restoration. The nib of the pen is a fine to medium point and it writes smoothly. Thi s pen would be great for your use or collection.
