This is an older 14k gold diamond ring. It still has a faint hallmark but has been tested to be 14k gold and the diamonds are genuine. The center stone is a round 5.2mm .50 carat solitaire. It is held in place by 6 prongs. The prongs are all in good shape and the diamond is tight. It was just at my jeweler for a cleaning and I had him re-tip 2 of the prongs that were a little worn. T are 3 small round diamonds that are .03 carat and each is individually prong set. The carat weight of all the diamonds is .59 total. The diamonds are bright and clear with no yellowing but when I had this one in for it's check up and my jeweler looked at the diamond under high powered magnification he did find a tiny feather in the center diamond. It is not visible to the naked eye. I actually wore this ring for a while on my pointer finger and got many compliments. Probably because it has a unique style in how it's made. This ring is a size 8 with a weight of 3.5 grams and is in excellent condition!
