This is a new atlatl and dart set from Occoquan Paleotechnics. The 24 inch thrower is made in Olive wood and the handle is capped with whitetail deer antler. It is also wrapped and looped with genuine suede leather for a soft and secure left or right handed grip. The spur is super hard Osage Orange wood and lashed on with raw flax fiber and hide glue, and then sealed with a sheen of natural beeswax. The thrower is properly flexible and nicely finished. The atlatl fits great with the 3 modern take apart darts provided. These 68 inch long darts feature the new Shepherd model threaded connector for the ultimate in durability and convenience.
