The last patent date on this Oliver #7 Standard Visible Writer is November 5th, 1912. The only problem is the carriage doesn't move when striking the keys so the letters keep striking in the same place. Also, I can't get the tabs to move. It might just be my lack of knowledge. Everything else moves fine. It doesn't seem to be dried out or rusty but it does need a good cleaning. Minor wear to the paint at the front corners of the machine is shown in the pictures. The cover, which has some dents as shown, attaches to the base and althought the strap at the top is gone the hardware is still t If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them. I will need help getting this packed and shipped so it may take an extra day or two to get it on it's way. I describe my items as accurately as possible.
