This Olympia Waterfall Motion Light would be a great addition to add to your game room. T is a plastic bearing pressed inside a metal ring that serves as the induction material. Well, surprise, surprise! Mechanical engineers use scientific terms like creep, flow, and sag to describe movement or change in shape over time and under continuous force. So, what happens is the plastic gives under the pressure of the ring, causing it to grip the center shaft with enough force to keep the motor from starting. So, that's one reason I must agree with you that Intermatic motors are junk. They fail in timers under their own brand, so they don't care.
