Comes complete with original red-and-black ink ribbons (1 installed, 1 spare). This piece will likely need internal & external cleaning & general TLC to bring it up to snuff (keys feel slightly slow?), but it still seems to produce nice clear type as it should (see photos). This looks to be a 1950s-era model based on my limited research (stamped serial number 319356). Case is still crisp and latches tightly, but the tweed shows expected wear from storage & age. A fantastic historical collectible and an excellent candidate for restoration or display. Weighs approximately 19.5 lb (~8.8 kg) including case, made in Western Germany (imported to NYC).
