OLYMPUS 35 RD CLASSIC 35MM RANGE-FINDER CAMERA: SPARES OR REPAIR F1.7/40MM LENS! Olympus 35 RD Classic 35mm rangefinder camera Circa 1975-79 Number: 301745 In my opinion, the RD is the best of this range of Olympus 35mm rangefinders.This is due to the manual/auto functions and the excellent f1.7/40mm lens. This one is in need of attention so selling for spares or repair. The shutter is firing but the iris is sluggish with oil on the blades, there is some fungus in the lens and the seals need to be replaced. I believe that the fungus can be removed as the was a spot between the lens and lens hood which wiped off easily. The light meter and rangefinder are working. The cosmetic condition of the camera is excellent. It is a very collectable camera! It comes with the original instruction manual, a strap and lens hood. You will need a battery.
