Omas Paragon Fountain Pen Limited production color in RED MINT condition with box and papers A classic piece of art - the Arte Italiano Paragon collection fountain pen. The Paragon Collection is Omas' signature series, produced since 1932 without interruption. Quoting from a respected fountain pen catalogue- "the 12-faceted design marries the best technological innovations while still maintaining completely handmade production. Lightweight and perfectly balanced, the Paragon is made of Omas' patented vegetal resin, guaranteed not to -break." The pen is a full-sized, piston filled with 18kt rolled gold bands and an 18kt gold nib. This pen is in a limited production color of RED- highly polished vegetal resin. I was only produced for about two years- around 1999. It is tfore less common but a stunning shade of red. This fountain pen is a Fine point- you can kind of see the 'F' marking on the side of the nib in the picture. The pen is mint and shows virtually no sign of use. It could easily pass as new though it has been inked. The original paperwork, instructions, international warranty card and inner box is all included. If you are unfamiliar with Omas, the nibs screw out and are interchangeable. Omas offers a wide array of nib choices and nibs can be exchanged as far as I understand. So, if fine is not your favorite nib, it can be changed to an oblique, right or left-handed, broad, etc. From a collecting standpoint, the price of these pens continue to rise each year. Quality today is the heirloom of tomorrow. My husband has owned literally thousands of fountain pens over the decades. He valued this writing instrument as one of the best. Due to poor health we are selling of much of his collection. Look for more in the coming weeks and months. Please ask all questions before bidding. I will try to get an answer from my husband the same day or within 24 hours, maximum. We will try to list specifics about which have been bought new or restored or serviced, etc. But, I am afraid I must repeat- please get all your questions answered before you bid because all sales are final. In most cases, it will be my goal for you to receive a nicer piece than you expected. No warranty is implied. No return accepted without prior, confirmed discussion and approval. I have an extremely high level of integrity, but unfortunately must state these reasons from prior experience with unreasonable buyers. And, I will do my best to assist you in any way and would want to point out that for you're and my protection (and reputations) all shipments must be insured. I am not responsible for transit but will bend over backwards to assist you if any unfortunate neglect arises that is out of my control, i.e. provide documentation. I hate to write so much for those of you who already know these common sense facts. But, I am new as a seller and all my past record can trace my purchases and in my buying experience I now find it necessary to spell out this minutia. If any loss is incurred during shipping I will provide you with the paperwork for your follow-up. I will ship within two day sof cleared payment. I accept PAYPAL for payment.
