This is a really BEAUTIFUL piece of crepe silk from a Japanese hoari. The detail of the flower petals is mind boggling! The design is 8" tall x 10" wide, woven in incredible detail with thread that is coated in metalic laquer before being used in the design. Laquered thread was rarely used so it is difficult to find. You are bidding on 41" long x 14" wide in one piece. I didn't note any stains and t are no holes or tears.This fabric is all taken from new and used kimonos/haoris. I try to state the imperfections as honestly as possible. T will always be holes on the seam lines of the fabric as this was once a garment.I will combine auctions to reduce postage.
