This type of cast iron Black Americana mechanical bank originated in the 1880's. It has rust on it as seen in the many photos taken and is in working condition. Put a coin in her palm, press down lever & her arm moves up to deposit coin in her mouth while her eyes & tongue roll back. It measures apx. 6 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" across front and 5 1/2" from front to back. it weighs apx. 5.55 pounds unboxed . The bottom reads "JOHN HARPER PAT 631". The bank has all flat screws in it. This bank was purchased used with a collection of others of the Jolly serries banks and may have some rust or paint chipping on it not seen in photos. I have no actual history with it and it is being sold as a modern version of the old Jolly N Bank serries. Please take this into consideration before bidding.
