One-Gallon Table Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NJ or possibly MA origin, circa 1840, semi-ovoid churn with large lug handles and flaring rim, decorated on one side with a brushed number "1" surrounded by a scallop-edged flower, and on the reverse with two cobalt tulips. Nice size, decoration, and color. Excellent condition.
