This One Mad Act...The Unknown Story of John Wilkes Booth and His Family - by His Granddaughter Izola Forrester - published by Hale, Cushman & Flint, 1937Hardcover - 500 pages - no dust jacket - (however, the front flap synopsis was laid in and is torn around edges) - book measures approximately 6 1/4" x 8 3/4" - Illustrations in black & white. Fair Condition: Boards show wear with dents, creases, scuffing on covers & spine, discoloring spots on covers - edges, spine tips & corners bumped - ding & frayed spot top edge front board - hinges a little tender but pages all intact - a few minor areas of foxing - prior owner personal name label was add to the half-title page but came off resulting in brown staining on the half-title & page facing the half-title (see pic) - store penciled marks on first blank end page - no writing/marks to text - pages browned from age - the top outer page edges is dark-stained and has bled on to a few pages at the top edge.
