This is a special one of a kind autographed Official National League baseball that contains 12 signatures from the 1944 St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball Team . This was during the period the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series against the St. Louis Browns. Only one kind of this ball exists, for it was gifted from the St. Louis Cardinals team to my family by request from Clarence J. Anthony. Clarence (a late cousin) at the time worked for the St. Louis Cardinals and acquired this ball as a gift for my great grandmother, which has been passed down through my family. 11 of the 12 signatures have been verified (the unknown signature is featured in the sixth picture and is the middle signature between Bob Keely and Augie Bergamo), which are the following players: Walker CooperRay SandersStan MusialBud ByerlyWhitey KurowskiAl JurisichPepper MartinAugie BergamoTed WilksBlix DonnellyBob Keely This ball has seen wear, due to the passage of time and lack of protection in the past (The ball however, is now contained in a case as shown in the main picture).
