ONEIDA / WM A Rogers Bros pattern "CORONATION" silverplate, 1936. Coronation, was introduced by Community (now Oneida) in 1936 to commemorate the crowning of Edward VIII of England. Due to his abdication, this event never took place. This beautiful estate set will allow your family an opportunity to relive this historical event. Fully cleaned, the set has standard wear for a 72 year old set. It appears this set started out as a 8 piece place setting which are monogrammed "P". An additional four piece place settings are not monogrammed. This gorgeous design will grace any dinner setting and is large enough for special occasions for your extended family. Includes 18 serving pieces, and unique 7 pc place setting, see list below. The set includes a anti-tarnish chest with two drawers. The box has scratches.
