UP FOR AUCTION IS THIS LOT WITH THE ART DECO LEAF DESIGNED SILVERPLATED LUNCHEON set of 88 pieces of flatware by Prestige Plate of the Oneida Silversmiths. This is a service for 15. The pattern is called Grenoble and was introduced in 1938. The flatware is in very nice used condition but does need polishing. NO monograms. The back of the handles read: Prestige Plate. The setting consists of 15 knives, 15 forks, 15 tablespoons, 21 teaspoons, 4 serving spoons, 1 meat fork, 1 gravy ladle and 1 butter knife. Very, very nice set! Set is listed in Tere Hagan's Silverplated Flatware Guide as COLLECTIBLE. You can have the original Prestige wood chest if you want for an additional $10.00, but it is scratched and needs refinishing. Perfect LARGE SET for your holidays. All is needed is polishing.
