Offered for sale here is a unique opportunity to own a fully personalised model. Here, we have a ex-Souther Railway/British Railway Battle of Britain/W est Country 4-6-2 locomotive that has been weathered as if to depict a recently withdrawn loco ready to be either scrapped or saved for preservation. Some nice detail has gone into the model, including the removal of valve gear and rear pony truck , a cut down tender to remove the side sheets (as per the real thing), a sheeted tender with gathered water, graffiti and a realistic rusting finish. The loco is of course non motorised, and free rolling so can be pushed or towed up and down a yard.
