Here for your consideration is a handmade teddy bear! This beautiful bear was hand crafted by Olga Schlegel of Germany. Her website is: /39994.html This bear was named Vikont by the artist, and she was "born" on February 20th, 2009. As the artist's handwritten card states:"One of a Kind crochet/felted bear, Vikont. She was born on 20.02.09 in Germany; crocheted from mixed yarn; face and paw pads are needle felted; blue glass eyes; 5-way jointed; armatured arms; 7.4" (19 cm)."This bear is fully jointed. You can move her legs at the hip joint, the arms at the shoulder, and the head turns from slightly side to side, all with pin joints. Vikont measures 7.5 inches tall when standing. When sitting she measures approximately 6.5 inches tall. She of course can balance very well while sitting, but it is not possible for her to stand on her own. This bear has been a part of handmade bear collection since I purchased her from the original artist in 2009. Since then she has been kept in my smoke free and mold free home. She has been displayed, but not played with, so she is in new condition!There are no flaws to be noted; this bear is simply stunning! My favorite parts are the needle felted paw pads and her blue glass eyes! With the bear, you will receive the handwritten tag by Olga Schlegel. This is the bear's birth certificate! :)Now, to the accessories! The unique thing about this auction is that I am also selling, with the bear Vikont, all of the little outfits and accessories I made for her. Just to be perfectly clear, only the bear was made by Olga Schlegel, but all of the other items in this auction were made by me. Here is a list of what you will receive, which you can see close up in the photos:*1 fancy bear sized chair! This chair has a soft and cushy seat and cute fabric chair skirt. The back is made from buckrum and covered over with cotton fabric. The chair has three sturdy legs. This is a really wonderful piece of toy furniture with an elegant shape! Vikont is the perfect size to sit on top of it. My sister made this chair, so I feel it's okay to brag about how great the quality is! :)*1 white nightgown. The bodice has two pin tucks, and there is lots of cute white cotton lace! The back has a velcro closure. This nightgown is made of a lightweight white cotton fabric. *1 pink and cream floral printed dress. There is a heart shaped bodice with two imitation pearls, and one larger pearl on the waistband. The waist and the hem of the dress are decorated with cream colored lace. The two straps can be cris-crossed behind the bear's shoulders, and tucked into the skirt. There is a velcro closure in the back of the skirt. The dress is made of cotton fabric with venice lace. Also included is a pink grosgrain ribbon with a matching floral fabric bow sewn near the center. This looks adorable as a headdress for the bear!*1 green dress with pink and peach flower print. There are 3 pin tucks in the dress skirt and a line of venice lace, and 2 pink ribbon organza roses in front of the straps. The straps can be cris-crossed behind the bear's shoulders and tucked into the skirt. The back of the dress has a velcro closure. It is made of cotton fabric. The dress also comes with a green ribbon with ribbon roses sewn in the center. This looks so cute as a headdress, around the bear's forehead!*1 lace shawl. This is really just a piece of wide and fancy cotton lace, but I think it looks wonderful as a shawl around the bear's shoulders. :) The ends have been finished to prevent fraying.*1 pink colored knit scarf. I knitted this bear sized scarf out of cotton embroidery floss. It has raised stripes on it, and fringe at both ends.*1 bear bed/sleeping bag. I knitted this bear sized bed out of cream colored wool. I used a cute checkerboard pattern. The bed is like a pocket, so the bear has a bed and sleeping bag all in one.
