This is a 1975 New-Out-of-Original Box Craft-Air J-Bird Hi-Performance Glider trainerj with 97 inch wingspan, wing area 931 sq.in. and wing loading of 7 oz/sq.ft. It does not come with the original box, only the box top graphic you see in the picture. I custom made a box for it from another large arf trainer box, so you do not get the Tower MKII ARF you see on the other side of the box top pictured. This planes comes with an ABS plastic fuselage, foam core wings, foam sheeting, wood-built-up tail surfaces and a huge clear bubble hatch/canopy in excellent condition after 40 years. The wing has a steel joiner rod with phenolic wing tubes, the hardware is minimal with a couple control horns and nylon clevises. You also get the "HOBBY MARKET" advertisement that came with it from the 1970's that has listed items like EK, Proline, World Expert and Kraft radios for outrageous prices, and Goldberg and Midwest kits for only a few dollars.
