STOP PRESS! phil-comics will be exhibiting at a special ABC "Dandy 75th birthday" comic fair at the Royal National Hotel , Bedford Way, London, WC1H 0DG (nearest tube Russell Square) on Sunday Dec 2nd, 2012 . Noon to 4pm. Entrance FREE. The festivities are an addition to the regular London Comic Marts held at the same venue. phil-comics will have comics, annuals and artwork for sale plus, if you win any items in our Nov auctions, why not save postage and come to the fair to collect your goods? In attendance will be contemporary Dandy artists including Henry Davis, Laura Howell, Gary Northfield, Lew String plus others. This will be a unique opportunity to meet the people behind the Dandy, hear them talk about their experiences working on the comic and see some of the rarities from the weekly's history. Scarce Dandy original artwork and comics from the 1930s to 1960s will be on display.
