Up for auction is an Opal Milk Glass Melon Pattern Lamp Shade. Shade is made of shiny white milk glass and sports a crimped top. The bottom of the shade measures 9 7/8" diameter, with the top opening 5". It stands 6 1/2" tall and fits on the 10" shade rings or tripods. Nice, smooth, first rate glass. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Looks super on the Aladdin Kerosene glass or metal lamps, especially the Cathedral pattern lamps. Please view a complete lamp below to see how it will look on your lamp. This shade would also fit your old Rayo, Miller or Student lamps with the 10" fitter.
This lamp is from a southern Ohio Estate, so I don't know for sure who made it or how old it is. I was told by the seller that he thought it was an older shade.
