This lovely old pitcher is just one of the many things that I've had around since my grandmother's death. I have grandchildren of my own now, who have children of their own, so you can do the math! I do not know much about old glass. Over the years I have had a couple of offers for this piece, but I wasn't ready to let it go, then. Now I have to pay my bills an the income isn't what it used to be. The pictures look a little washed out at the bottom of the pitcher, but this is the photographer, not the piece! There is a slight opalescense to this pitcher. It has some tiny scratches on he bottom (outside) of the pitcher, but otherwise is in great shape. No chips, cracks, etc. I hope the new owner will enjoy this as much as I have. Just the idea that it is so old and that it has seen many a gathering thrills me! Uh-oh, I'm getting sentimental!
