This is a super rare prototype from the Matamp factory, it doesn't seem to work properly but probably wouldn't take much effort to fix! I managed to find this information about it from a previous listing (this is a different prototype but appears to be the same model!) which accurately describes the condition and history of the amp I have for sale!"The prototype Orange ‘Toaster’ mini amp for sale runs off a 9-12v DC adapter or a battery (neither of which are included in the sale).The amp is a solid state combo with 2 x 4 inch speakers, it has 2 inputs, volume and tone controls and a headphone socket.This is really for collectors of Matamp / Orange gear and its value is in its novelty, history and rarity.This is a prototype ‘knocked up’ to see how the amps would look / sound / feel. As such the overall construction quality (in my opinion) is very poor. The tolex is poorly cut and fit, and the corner protectors are mis-aligned. This amp bears no reflection to the usually unsurpassed quality of Matamp (and Orange for that matter!)Matamp USA paid to have 30 of these little units made. 14 actually arrived into the USAand the another 7 were sold in the UK and Europe.
