This spectacular sp was cut from the Orbicular Jasper, sometimes called 'Ocean' Jasper, that is mined off the northwest coast of Madagascar. While orbicular jasper is found in other locations, the colors, patterns, and quality of the Madagascar material is exceptional and distinctive. This is a large sp, nearly 4 inches in diameter, and has an incredible appearance. The orbicular pattern is gorgeous, and is particularly striking in the green, pink, and snow white colors. As if that weren't enough, t also are pockets of sparkly druse quartz crystals! This is undoubtedly a museum grade specimen, with perfect cutting and polish. This is a highly collectible item, as well as a lovely decorative piece for the home. The exact size is 3.75 inches in diameter and the weight is 2 lb 7.6 oz. Because this is a one-of-a-kind item, with a potential future value much higher than the current price, shipping insurance is required.
