Oregon Gold Nugget!!1.08 gram.Larger pieces like this are hard to find here in Oregon. Finding this gold in Oregon is very spotty. It's not like you just go out and find it. It can take months to find just one piece that's a quarter of a gram. This area the gold is found most commonly in pockets. It's truly hit or miss. And believe me. Most often a miss. All the easy gold was mined out a hundred plus years ago. However. When a good pocket is found. It is often massive. Pounds can be pulled from them. It's rare. But happens. And I've seen it. The nuggets are a bit courser. Which is not uncommon for the area. It has a high purity like most Oregon Gold does. I've seen gold from and surrounding areas assay as high as 98%. This gold has not yet been professionally assayed. But tests over 22k easily. If it's consistent like other gold I find in these areas. It's 93 - 95% pure or higher. And will have some trace amounts of silver, platinum and copper in it. Along with other trace elements. The price for this gold is based on its specimen, gold value and seller fees only.
