Featured in this issue is the DOUBLE PAGE image gallery "NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT-FEATURES AND METHODS OF THE SERVICE ILLUSTRATED, WITH PORTRAITS...", containing NINETEEN (19) wood engraved views: "MODEL CELL", "HEADQUARTERS, 300 MULBERRY STREET", "EXAMINING MYSTERIOUS PRISONERS", "SUPERINTENDENT WALLING'S ROOM", "BUREAU OF INQUIRY", "THE ROUGES' GALLERY", "POLICE TELEGRAPH", "DETECTIVES' WAITING ROOM", "DRILLING A SQUAD, TOMPKINS MARKET", "PROPERTY CLERK'S ROOM-RETURNING STOLEN GOODS", "SUPPLY DEPARTMENT", "SCHOOL", "CHIEF CLERK'S ROOM", "DETECTIVE SERGEANT REPORTING", "COMMISSIONER MASON'S ROOM, POLICE HEADQUARTERS", "MODEL STATION", "DORMITORIES IN MODEL STATION", "MATRON WEBB'S ROOM, POLICE HEADQUARTERS", & "WEIGHING PRISONERS".
