Rare Orginal '60s Revell HMS Beagle Sailing Ship Kit
Description This is a rare early '60s Revell Authentic Kit # H-330:298. It builds a 1/96 scale model ( hull is about 12" long) of the ship that Charles Darwin made his famous scientific voyage in, the H.M.S. Beagle. This kit is in fantastic, unbuilt condition, with the parts still sealed in the original factory bag. Everything is as it came from the factory inside, including the sails, ratlines, rigging, and paperwork. Even the historical pamphlet describing Darwin's voyage is still in it. T is a small "S" type cement tube in it, not useable, but an interesting addition to it's collectible value. The box is complete and does not have any tears, and looks very good as a display piece. No reserve. My starting bids are not a reflection of the items worth, but are usually quite bit less than the item is worth- I put them low to create bidding and so they'll sell. If they don't sell, they go into my Ebay store at a higher, but more than fair price. Before you bid, please read our terms! International Bidders- Orders over $30 in value, both separate and combined, and size and weight over certain minimums go only via Priority. The exchange rate is in your favor, and my starting prices are low. If you can't pay the duty, please don't bid. We don't falsify customs forms. If you can't pay the shipping and handling please don't bid. If it says U.S. only in the listing, it means U.S. only. If you don't read English, or understand this, please don't bid. Our Descriptions; While I'm not above embellishing or enhancing the description of any of this stuff ( hey- I have to make you want to buy it, right?), t are some limits as to what I use for descriptive adjectives. If I use the term rare or scarce ( or the slightly down-graded "hard to find"), it usually means that I haven't seen any or many in 30 years. This may not apply to another part of the Ebay world, as t are regional rarities. It could mean that it's the condition of this item that makes it so...... Decals in older kits may not be useable, but add to the collectible value of older kits. I don't inventory parts of older kits, but will give my opinion on how complete I think they are. No guarantees are offered for their completeness, and they are sold as is. And I refuse to use the term "vintage". Vintage relates to wine, classic cars, and old Barons. If a listing says vintage, it's either because the seller didn't know how old it was, what to call it, or just didn't want to describe it as "old". Some of my stuff is old in a good way-like me. Please read the boring stuff below so you'll know what the deal is...... PaymentHey Baron-How and when do I Make sure you have a verified address. Uh, w hat's a verified address? If you don't know, you probably don't have one. You do this through Paypal. It protects me. Go to Paypal and do it. H ow else can I pay? Email me if you would like to make other arrangements. Wait! I'm not done bidding! If you are buying or bidding on more than one item, let me know, and wait until I invoice you. My dearest von Plastic-I am on a fixed budget, can you save me any $$$ ? -No-so am I. Baron's only a title, not a reflection of my wealth. Shipping Herr Baron-when will I get my goods? I usually ship in 3-4 days. Sometimes even a Baron needs a couple of days off, though. Bonjour Monsieur Baron- Can you ship it a cheaper way? No. T's a reason why I ship the way the item is listed. I try to be fair, but after 10,000 ++ orders, I have a pretty good idea what I'm doin'. Mr. Baron- I want this shipped to my sister in Botswana, and this is not her address on my Paypal card-what do I do? Go.... no wait, I can't say that... see the verified address thing. I only ship to your address as listed by Paypal. Baron my friend ( I'm always their friend on this question); I'm from (some foreign country) I love your low prices, and that the U.S. Dollar is re...
