For auction are two beautifully detailed Oriental figures. I am listing them now because I've read that e-bay plans to ban the sale of any type of ivory in the next few weeks. I don't know much about these figures other than they came from the estate of a very wealthy man. I was told that these were carved from pre-banned ivory & are very old. I'll let you be the expert in this auction & decide the value. I'm an honest man & will only tell you what I know as fact. Both figures measure 13 & 1/2" tall. The female figure is of a Geisha with a parasol in one hand & a fan in the other. The male figure appears to be a Samurai warrior holding a sword & shield. The details are stunning & these items are very heavy. The bottom of each figure has a sticker that reads "Norleans Made in Italy". T is no noticible damage or repairs to either of the figures. T is a yellowish tint to both items due to age. I've tried to show as much detail as possible in the pictures. Questions are welcome & answered promptly & honestly. I am not responsible for damages or delays by the post office. I always ship immediately after payment is received. I'll gladly add insurance at request & expense of winning bidder.
