A blue and white handled tureen lid in the Oriental pattern; I believe this is a Ridgway piece; it has 8 cartouches around the sides and the temple/palm and flower motif. It is scalloped around the edges and has gold leaf accents on the handle and bottom edge; it measures 8 1/2" across and 7" wide; no chips/no cracks/no crazing. If you don't have the bottom for this but love blue and white china this would be an interesting piece to hang on its own. We will be away when the auction starts but will be back in time to answer any questions. We calculate shipping based on w you are located and whether the best method of shipping is via USPS or federal express ground in order to save the buyer money. Our exact return policy will be given to the winning bidder. We will be glad to combine shipping. We accept money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, Paypal. We sell internationally and ask that international buyers pay in U.S. currency. PLEASE NOTE: If we give you an estimate on shipping costs and you win the auction please do not pay us until you receive our invoice. Payment is required within 10 days of notification of shipping charges; we will e-mail the winning bidder and will notify the winning bidder when the item is shipped. NOTICE: Extremely fragile items ( i.e., glass/pottery/very old and potentially fragile items) will have insurance added; otherwise insurance is optional. We pack items as securely as possible, however, if you choose not to insure an item we cannot be responsible for any damage in transit; we have no control of the packages once they are shipped and out of our hands. On other items considered unbreakable, we strongly suggest that you obtain insurance in case of loss, however, that is up to the buyer. If an item sustains damage in transit the buyer will be responsible for filing any insurance claim regarding said item and we will assist with whatever documentation is needed to complete the buyer's filing of a claim. Any large and/or heavy items are shipped via USPS parcel post or federal express ground which will have insurance automatically included in the shipping price up to $100.00.
